Your efforts and generosity are very much appreciated by us, the riders and the ponies.

GIFT IDEA - SPONSOR A PONY
For an annual donation of £25 you can sponsor one of our ponies. You will receive a booklet with a letter from the pony and their picture, and your name will be displayed outside the pony's stable for a year. If you have not been able to meet our ponies yet, do contact Diane Godfrey at The Centre to find out more about our equine family. Donations will be used for the health and wellbeing of the ponies and the work at The Shelley Centre.

*Sunday19 September - Long Distance Ride through beautiful countryside. Start and finish at The Shelley Centre. Excellent participation and good weather combined to raise nearly £3,000 for The Centre. Many thanks to all who took part and did so well with Sponsorship
*Saturday 09th October, 19.30hrs - 60's Party Night Dinner & Dance at the Elizabeth Hotel, Copdock. Dancing to Solid Gold, Dress 60's Style if you have the Gear. 200 swinging current and past helpers and their friends dressed in their wonderful 60's costumes to enjoy good company and great dancing, to celebrate the 20th anniversary year at the Shelley Centre. we even made £1,734 profit on a non-protit making event!
*Saturday 16th October, 10.30 - 15.30hrs at Whatfied Village Hall - New, Nearly New & Vintage Clothing, Accessories, Table & Bed Linen and a variety of Gifts from the Shelley Centre. Participants include - Alaric Clothing & Accessories, New Quality Clothing, Jewellery, Bags, Belts, Scarves at Half High street Prices - Lily Lemon, Pretty Paraphernalia, Vintage and Retro Style Shopping - Park Lace & Linen, Beautiful Table, Bed & Christmas Linen - The Shelley Centre, Quality nearly new & Vintage Clothing, Assorted Gifts & Christmas Cards. The Fund Raising team worked very hard to make the profit of £750 at this event. Many thanks to all who supported us'
25-29 October - Half Term holiday
Wednesday 3 November - RDA Supra Regional Conference at Bedford Lodge Hotel, 11 Bury Road, Newmarket. 15 members from The Centre attended to watch Elaine and Pat receive their Certificates for 30 years service to RDA, and Val and Mary their 25 years Certificates, presented by HRH Princess Ann. We are delighted that David won the East Region Volunteer of the Year Award, and was also Runner-up for the RDA National award.
November - Helpers supper. 60 helpers attended the evening of good food, good company and challenging quiz questions at The Lion Leavenheath and had a fun time.

10 December - End of Term.
Saturday 11 December - Carol Service. Very fortunate to have the only dry, snow-free meeting, a full Church, beautiful singing from the Serendipity Choir and a very well behaved “Baby Jesus”!
